CEGTH undertakes material testing as per national standards and specifications
defined by BIS, IS, ISO etc and as per costumers' specifications. In 2006, CEGTH
was accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board For Testing And Calibration
Laboratories) which is a registered autonomous body under the Department of Science
and Technology, Government of India. Its objective is to provide the governments,
industry associations and industries in general with a scheme for third party assessment
of the quality and technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
The accredited laboratories prove their technical competence by satisfactory participation
in recognized Proficiency Testing Programs.
NABL accreditation is a formal recognition of the technical competence of a testing
or a calibration laboratory for a specific task following ISO/IEC:17025 Standards.
It provides a ready means for customers to find reliable testing and calibration
services of international standards in order to meet their demands.

BIS CERTIFICATION

CEG Test House And Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. has been recognized under BIS Lab recognition
scheme 2000 from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for being used, as and when required
for testing of samples of products under BIS Certification Mark Scheme for the following
products:
Cements,
Steels,
Industrial Bitumen,
Cement concrete flooring tiles, and
